How to Play

GuessRift turns a stream into a live League of Legends quiz. While the streamer plays, their Twitch chat races to identify a champion's splash art, ability icon or item as it is revealed bit by bit - or hear a champion's voice line and race to name them. The first to guess right wins the round and climbs a global ranked ladder. No installs, no bots, no setup.

Getting started (streamer)

Sign in with Twitch - we read your live chat automatically.
Choose what to include: Splash, Skills, Items and/or Voice (at least one).
Hit Start. A 3·2·1 countdown kicks off and the first round begins.

How a round works

Each round the game picks one type (splash, ability, item or voice) from what you enabled and shows a cropped or partially revealed image, or plays a voice line. Everyone - your viewers and you - guesses by typing in your Twitch chat. The first correct answer wins the round, earns LP, and the round ends. Each round lasts up to 30 seconds; guess faster for a speed bonus.

Splash art stays cropped so it doesn't give itself away; ability and item icons reveal progressively. Turn on Autoplay to let rounds (and whole matches) chain automatically - perfect to leave running for your viewers.

Modes

GuessRift runs a single mode, Rift, built from four content types you can toggle on or off at any time (changes apply next round):

Splash Art - name the skin from a sliver of its splash.
Abilities - name the champion who owns the ability from its icon.
Items - name the item from its icon alone.
Voice - name the champion from their in-game voice line (plays in your language).

Ranking & LP

Every player competes on one global ladder that counts in every stream, climbing the familiar ranks from Iron to Challenger. Your rank is derived from your total LP:

100 LP = one division (IV → III → II → I); 400 LP = one full tier. Iron → Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Emerald → Diamond, then Master, Grandmaster and Challenger at the top.
Win a round: LP that scales with how many different people guessed that round (anti-farming), plus a speed bonus for guessing fast.
Win the match (most round wins): bonus LP.
Played but scored zero: a small LP loss.

The Live Ranking tracks your channel's community across all your streams; the Global Ranking spans everyone. Click any player to see their stats.

FAQ

Do viewers need to install or sign up for anything?

No. Viewers just type their guess in the streamer's Twitch chat - that's it.

What counts as a correct guess?

The champion, skin or item name. We accept English and Portuguese spellings and tolerate small typos, so close answers still count.

Is GuessRift free?

Yes, completely free to play.

Does my elo carry between channels?

Yes - there is a single global ladder. Your LP follows your Twitch identity in every stream you play in.

Can I change the language?

Yes. English, Portuguese and Spanish are available in the Options menu (⚙).

Which modes can I run?

Any combination of Splash, Skills, Items and Voice - toggle them on or off, even mid-match.
